This fall we are inviting our 1st and 2nd-grade students to participate in JJP offerings. Sadly, due to concern about COVID-19, we will pause Havurah for nursery, Pre-K, and kindergarten students.
For our 1st and 2nd grade leaners, we will be offering Our First Family: The Stories in the Book of Genesis as the “core” class. There are a number of sections throughout the week; choose the one that best fits your child’s schedule. We will be sending home a box of fun materials and art supplies to be used for hands-on projects during each session.
Additionally, 1st and 2nd-grade children will receive 12 half-hour 30-minute online sessions through our Hebrew Homepage platform. Each child can choose to learn the Aleph-Bet and beginning decoding, or a class called Eye Spy: Jewish Symbols designed for them. These are one-one-one experiences. Parents choose tutors for these sessions based on their child’s availability.
Lastly, 1st and 2nd-grade learners can also participate in one Sunday Intensive that takes place four times/semester. We are thrilled to offer a JBrick: Israel through Lego intensive for children in grades 1-3 this fall on Sundays from 9-10 a.m.
If public health conditions permit, we hope to return to our regular Saturday afternoon schedule all Havurah students, from 3 years to Grade 2, in January 2021
$2,000 (this is the same tuition as the 2019-2020 school year)
$1,750 (a discounted price for families that have been financially impacted by COVID)
Please consider registering at the highest level possible, to support the JCC.
